Tagore Matriculation Hr. Sec. School, (English Medium) was established in 1985, in Block-29, Neyveli -7. This school is run by Tagore Educational Society, Tindivanam, a registered voluntary organization. Chevalier Sir. Prof. Dr. K.C. Rajabather, M.A., M.A., M.Ed., M.Phil., B.Com., PGDPM., D.Lit., Ph.D., OASG.(Austria), is the Founder of the institution. This school was started here to cater to the needs of the children of N.L.C., employees, contractors and their staff in and around 29th Block & 22nd Block. Tamil Nadu Government Matriculation syllabus is followed, it is a Co-Educational, Self Financing Institution with Tamil as first language . LKG to XII Std students are moulded in such a way as to become worthy citizen of India. All round knowledge is imparted in this school to the students. Special individual attention is bestowed on educationally backward children.
